As the long-awaited Proton Exora is set to be launched on 15 April 2009, more and more details about the Exora is revealed. The Proton Exora will be equipped if quite a number of niceties such as follow-me-home headlights, auto hazard lights after sudden mergency braking at 96 km/h, etc. All these features will absolutely give the Exora a value for your money at the price tags around RM70k. Now, for the test drive. Two issues that you may ask - the first one, is the MPV spacious? Yes, the Exora is very spacious - it is even bigger than Toyota Wish. The second issue - is the engine powerful enough? Sadly, I must admit that the Campro CPS 1.6 L engine is quite underpowered for an MPV of its size - especially for the automatic version where it appears to be obviously sluggish. However, it is said that even though it is underpowered, the Exora still performs way better than Toyota Avanza, Toyota Innova and Nissan Grand Livina. Even though I said this, I must admit that the most suitable engine for the Exora should be either a 2.0 L engine or a Campro CPS 1.6 Turbo engine.
To all Proton Exora buyers awaiting for their brand-new MPVs to be delivered, may your experience with the Exora will be great experiences for all of you.
