Hello again. Sorry for late adding this post. Actually, I wanna tell y'all that last Friday I went to KL with my parents to buy laptops for my younger bro and sis, also to buy a new handphone for myself. So, we're heading to Lowyat...
I bought two units of Dell Inspiron 1420 (Black & Pink color) for both my youngsters. Both were the same model but different graphic accelerators (Black one has NVIDIA GeForce 8400M GS, and the Pink one came with Intel GMA X3100 on 965G chipset). Prices? RM3,550 for Black and RM2,650 for Pink.
Here's the pictures of both units:
This one is for 'adik'
This one is for 'Wahn'

Then, I bought a brand new handphone (Sony Ericsson W890i). This is basically a Walkman phone with 3G connectivity and 3.2 mega pixels camera. I've chosen a limited edition Black color. The price was RM1,360. Maybe this is an early birthday gift for myself...hehehe
Here's the picture.

That's all for now. Later.

Today, after 5pm I went out to get a new haircut. My hairstylist (Thomas) gave a new look to my hair with medium-long airy style. I'm satisfied with my new hair style, and I did mini facial too. Pictures? Later...
After that, I went to Pizza Hut to buy something for our dinner. I tried the new special pizza (Starzbites Cheesy Extreme), and add a large pan pizza (Hawaiian Chicken). Side dishes? Deli Chicken Wings, garlic breads, and chicken soup.

Then, I went to Guardian to buy face cleanser and scrubs, and also a supplement drink (Maximum Weight Gain). Hahaha...the name was just like "Maximum Power" in Crysis game.
What next? I returned home la...
Ok, that's all. See ya.

Finally, I can online today!
Yesterday, I couldn't get connected to Streamyx at all. Dunno what's the problem this time, but this morning TM called me asking about whether my problem already settled or not. I said, I still got poor connection and I believe it was Streamyx which at fault, not my phone line. Then, the officer said they will try to find out what's happening about my connection. I also told them, my ADSL was not stable, always disconnected even just about 1 minute connected. If I can connect to Streamyx, the speed is so slow...not even reach 512kbps downstream (my subscription is for 1Mbps). I hope, this will never happens again.
I went to TNB yesterday, paying the deposit of new electricity application for my new house. Well, the amount to be paid was RM400. I really hope my family can move to our new house very soon. My electricity bill for last month also increased to RM81.90 for the first time. Is it because of the new tariff? Or it is because of our usage got increased, as my new PC powered by a 550W PSU (and my PC running almost all the time).
I've to withdraw money from the ATM several times just for last week alone... Last Sunday, I paid for repairing costs of my father's car. It got a problem last week, the automatic gear couldn't shifted properly. After about 2 hours sent to the workshop, I came to take the car. The mechanics explained to me what're being fixed and replaced. Basically, the auto-gear lubricant being filled up. Also, there were some other components (bla...bla...bla..) got replacement and they shown to me. So, guess how much I have to pay? It's RM951 for all the stuffs! Yeah, maybe because they were components for Mercedes-Benz (mostly using Bosch brand). After that, VROOMMM.... I drove the car and it's running smoothly!
I've already got the money from my loan. Now, I'm thinking of when to buy a laptop for both my youngters. Then, give some to my mum. Futhermore, I wanna transfer some amount to my 'Current Account'. "It's easy to do business using 'Current Account' and no need to bring cash", my father said to me. I have to save a lot and use money wisely...as the price of everything got increased nowadays. Even my motorbike's fuel is over RM10 for full tank. Hmmm.....
Pity to Faiz as he wasn't going to Bon Odori... Nevermind Faiz, there's always a next time. If I can go, I'll treat you.
More updates? Next time, ok!

Hi, guys. Just a quick update to share a fact with y'all. Do you know that Honda Cub C50 was the greatest ever motorcycle in the world? For me, Honda made a history since about 50 years ago by making a super-economy motorcycle for the people. Labels: Quick update
Yes, I like Yamaha...but Honda was the first to produce a motorcycle cub. Here, we often called those cubs as 'kapcai'.
So, enjoy the video!

Hello, all. Again, about benchmarking. I just downloaded the new version of 3DMark from Futuremark. This one called 3DMarkVantage, completely supports Windows Vista and DirectX 10. With latest processors and graphics card technologies, this should be a new challange to improve our computer performance especially for gaming and multi-tasking works. Labels: Software
PC specs:
First of all, the file size of 3DMark Vantage installer is about 400MB. I took about an hour to finish downloading it. For the installation, you can choose either 'Custom' or 'Express' install. Basically, I just choose 'Express' installation.
After that, just run the program "3DMark Vantage". You should see a window like this:

Then, I choose the options of what tests I wanna run on my computer. After that, choose the details and presets of the tests (such as resolution, texture filtering, texture quality, shader quality, post-processing, etc.).

The benchmarking processes took about 15 minutes before I can display the results online. The results I've got are shown as follows:

Well, this score I got after enabling NVIDIA PhysX on my GeForce 9800GTX. I used beta driver (Forceware v177.39 for Windows Vista x64). The results are slightly different between with and without NVIDIA PhysX software.
Comparing my computer with the record holder of 3DMark, mine still has not enough 'horsepower' for running latest 3D games with very-high resolution (such as HD). Well, graphics cards are what really matter on 3DMark. I still thinking, that my Intel Q6600 CPU can perform better. There should be a better result if I optimize the configuration of my system (hardware and software). Most people overclocked their processors, so they could gain a lot of scores by that. I'm not doing overclock on any of my hardware because they're still new.
Well, after about a month I'm not online...I just knew that NVIDIA has released their brand new graphics card, GeForce GTX 200 series. The line-up are GeForce GTX 260 and GeForce GTX 280. The current price of GTX 280 at Lowyat is about RM2200. I think this is quite worth it compare to GeForce 9800 GX2. I wish to buy one, and maybe two for SLI. About the processor, I don't think the need to replace it because Core 2 Quad Q6600 performed well and it can be overclocked to 3.60GHz or maybe higher.
Ok, then. Till next time.

Today, my phone line got fixed by TM maintenance staff. Actually, my phone line broke down because of thunderstorms last month. As I got busy, and my father always went outstation... so we're not really care about the problem. Main features: After setup, I still couldn't get connected. I called TM helpline (100) asking about my Internet connection problem. The officer said my connection was already activated but I can't connect to the PPPoE network. I asked them to reset the password for my account. Finally, after about 40 minutes trying... I'm now reconnected and I'm online! Yeah!
Then after a month, TM has terminated my line and Internet connection. They told me to pay first before the maintenence can be done...it really pissed me off because the line has already broken since early of May. Moreover, the Streamyx bill got increase every month eventhough I'm not using it.
One day, a lightning struck near my house (I live in a village, so you can expect a lot of lightnings in heavy thunderstorms). It caused my DSL modem to burn off.
Finally, last week my dad paid the outstanding bills for my Internet. Then, yesterday I bought a new ADSL2+ modem with router (D-Link DSL-520T) to replace the old one (Billion brand supplied by TMnet).

Well, because of my sister got accepted to UPM...I tried to make a loan to support her study costs. She'll apply PTPTN...of course, but I wanna help to support both my younger siblings.
So, I made a loan application for Educational Loan with a bank. The maximum loan amount applicable is RM 100,000. I made a request for the amount of RM 50,000 but finally they approved my loan limited to RM 25,000.
There were a lot of procedures to follow through, such as personal information, bank statements, my current income, assets, etc. I used the status as a 'director' in my own company and stated other sufficient info. Frankly speaking, I thought that I can't make a bank loan because of I'm a self-employed.
I hope to buy a brand new laptop for both my younger sister (adik) brother (Wahn). The balance, I would use them to pay the tution fees for my litle sister (at UPM) and younger brother (undergo a Master Degree at USM).
Thinking of my youngsters, I realized that I'm only a fresh graduate of Bachelor Degree... (graduate already?). People keep asking me whether I'm working or not. Well, technically I'm working in my own company (doing sub-contract and commodity plantation). After all, I feel as I'm still unemployed...because I never gone through any job application yet. Income? I can say that my average income per month now is about RM 3,000 (not fixed). Actually, this is a business...so I don't expect every month got income. The profits have to be rolled up also... Well, y'all know it right?
More updates? Next post ok...
