Every post in this blog sounded serious right? But not this one... Labels: Music
Looking at 'Sungel (Magishine)' picture on Faiz's blog...reminds me of Magiranger. That was the title of a Japanese super sentai series back in 2005. They're so energetic, you can tell by watching any episodes of the series. So colorful, and looks cool even more with lovely magical words.
I like the ending theme song "Jumon Kourin ~Magical Force~" by Sister MAYO. It will makes you wanna dance! Btw, here's Magiranger dance moves in full, lead by Urara-chan... enjoy!

After qualifying, Heikki Kovalainen (3rd), and Lewis Hamilton (4th) both lose 5 places on the grid as a penalty for blocking other drivers on the track; while Kazuki Nakajima (18th) also dropped to fill the last slot on the grid as the penalty for a collision with Robert Kubica (BMW) in Australian Grand Prix last week.
The provosional grid above is where all drivers will start for tomorrow's race.

Hmm...enough with politics. I wanna share with y'all the TV commercial of the refreshed look of Proton Gen-2. It's now powered by 1.6L Campro CPS engine (the latest Proton engine as I mentioned last time). CPS means "Cam Profile Switching", Proton's version of "Variable Valve Timing" (VVT) technology.
What can you expect from a 1.6L Campro CPS?
About the TV commercial, this is the first time I've seen Proton come out with such appealing CM. It takes about 60 secs, with nice graphical CGs...showing the key features of the new Gen-2.
Well, check this out:
Ok, that's all. My internet connection sucks today, thanks to Streamyx.

I think, most of us already know the results of 12th General Election in Malaysia. The strategies used by opposition alliance (DAP, PAS, PKR) seemed working. With reduced majority for National Front aka. Barisan Nasional, I can't tell what will happen to this country from now on. "New mandate", said the PM... I hope he wouldn't blow them off. At least, there're some people who still have faith in him. This will be a good lesson to the ruling government for the future of our country.
Check the following results (click to enlarge):
P = Parliamentry; N = State Assembly
Get updated details: Utusan Malaysia
SPR declared that Barisan Nasional (BN) will retain as the government, with a simple majority. This is the first time BN loses the 2/3 majority of people's votes. It's only 61.71% from all over the country. We can see, a few ministers being knocked down...and it's quite a big shock actually... Many people quoted this scenario as a "Political Tsunami".
Nonetheless, I'm glad that most of Johoreans are unite and still have faith in Barisan Nasional...which party has successfully governed Johore since the independence of Malaysia. I can say, the history factor also gives influence of why BN is still the best to govern Johore. Let's see what the opposition alliance can do for other states.
To the Prime Minister, I really hope you can change yourself mentally and emotionally before thinking to regain the people's voices. The results are just an early sign, so please don't blow off their hopes. Take this one as a lesson for you. I'm afraid that you'll never be able to be the PM again if you lose in the next general election.
Well, that's all for now.
"The party isn't bad, but the people in it who have made a bad impression for the party."

This year, Formula One will be more technical since the elimination of electronic driver aids (e.g. traction control and engine braking systems). Instead, all teams are required to use the Standardised Electronic Control Unit (SECU) which was developed by McLaren Electronic Systems in-conjunction with Microsoft. Labels: Formula One
Some teams said that McLaren be at advantage since the team has used SECU before. Well, I reckon that this year will be close fight between the top teams because all drivers have to show their true skills in driving Formula One cars. In addition, there will be no engine upgrades for several years since the introduction of 2.4 litre V8 engine since 2006 season.
How difficult is it to tame a 2008-spec Formula One car?
Here's the opinions from Renault's Fernando Alonso based on what I've read (Formula1.com):
"It is in the low-speed (second gear) corners that you notice the difference because that is where the traction control would normally kick in. That means you have to change your driving style quite dramatically. Last year we used to go straight to full throttle, but now we need to be gentler and feather the throttle," said Alonso.
From what I can see, Formula One without traction control surely makes the wheel spins even more (especially rear wheels) because of the high torque of a Formula One car. Excessive wheel spins will result a bit power loss then reduce the acceleration. We'll know that when hearing the revs rising. So, the driver cannot kicks too hard on the throttle, and needs to fairly control the balance of the car when driving.
Alonso also highlights about steering inputs: “With traction control we used to get more understeer at the exit of the corner, but this is no longer an issue. Rather, from midcorner onwards, the car oversteers and slides more, which again influences your driving style and the racing line.”
Talking about elimination of engine braking systems (EBS), Alonso's team mate Nelson Piquet Jr. quote: "When you look at the telemetry, the brake pressure is now much less compared to last year. With EBS you could brake much harder; if you did that without the electronics, you will simply lock up your wheels."
For me, of course it is so difficult to stop a Formula One car travelling at 300 km/h. You can see, even with EBS the wheels could be locked up hardly. So, I conclude this year's Formula One season will be more challanging to all teams and drivers.

Finally, I'm back from Uniten (or should I say from Imad's house) after spending the whole weekends there. Hmm...last Sunday, I went to Lowyat with Faiz and Imad. While searching for SATA power cable for Faiz, we dropped by in front of one shop and saw the trailer of Onimusha 4: Dawn of Dreams. This was a PS2 game title released in 2006 and the fourth sequels of Onimusha series. Jubei looks so cool in this one!
Onimusha 4: Dawn of Dreams [Full trailer]
I really like the designs and the environment setup... Faiz told me to take some parts as reference. Those will give me ideas for my 3D animation project which also based on Japanese Samurai story. Those armors are solid and shiny, and I really hope that I can render similar effects with my computer. About movements and camera techniques? Hmm...so nice! Where should I take to improve realism in my animation? Anyway, I'm currently testing to integrate between Cinema 4D, Poser, and MotionBuilder. Some plugins are working but mostly I have to define the settings every time. Really stressful...
Ok, enough for that... I just remembered that today is Ayus' birthday (3rd March). Omedetou... Sorry, no gift..but maybe I'll treat you someday. Hehe..
